Movn exists to digitize grassroots sports — making participation more accessible, more fun, and within reach for every organization, not just the ones with big budgets. We're not here to replace the tools clubs and federations already use. We're the entry door: the digital front desk of the clubhouse, bringing every service an organization offers into one place their community actually uses.
Movn didn't start as a superapp. It started as Setteo, the first social platform built specifically for racket sports — over 30 federation customers, 350,000 users, and one founding idea: make the world play together. A shared social network had real limits, though — organizations couldn't fully brand their own space. So we built something new: a superapp combined with a no-code app builder, launched as Movn.
The technology proved effective well beyond sport — it now also powers Civikka, our platform for municipalities, and biomedical research platforms trusted by agencies of the French government including Inserm and CNRS. Sport remains where it started, and where it's strongest: one shared ecosystem where every organization's community adds value to the next. We were early movers too — pioneering a marketplace-driven approach to sports software in 2014, and launching Setcoin, our athlete-backed rewards token, in 2018, years before “move to earn” became mainstream.
We want to build the largest community of sports organizations and players in the world — and become the standard every organization, from a local club to a national federation, turns to for their digital presence. Not by replacing what already works, but by becoming the front door to all of it.
